A American has always been very friendly to me on the many times I have shopped there. Their prices are very competitive too. I would recommend them to anyone.

Andrew of A American is our HERO. He was first class from start to finish when we used his company for getting granite countertops installed in our new kitchen. He squeezed us in for an estimate, hung around at their warehouse the same evening so that we could pick out a slab, and three days later we were getting granite installed! And good lord did we get a nice slab!! We couldn't have been happier with our experience dealing with him. He helped us out a lot, gave us good advice, and the installation was quick and efficient. The installers were really nice and professional, and came back the same day when the weight of the granite caused a panel to shift on our bar and fixed the problem with no hassle whatsoever. Andrew oversaw the whole thing from start to finish and was easy to reach whenever we had questions or needed something. They offer 6 months of free financing through a credit company, which is really nice. I'd recommend Andrew to anyone looking for a new countertop!

Huzzah for A-American! We already had our countertops installed from somewhere else, but we wanted just one small additional countertop for a spare corner. We couldn't get our original guys to call us back and build the thing, but Alin at A American was quick and super. He took such care with the details, which you don't always find with a small job. We went to the Niles location, which had a great display of flooring and tile, etc. Too bad we don't need any more countertops, but we'll use them when we replace the next floor!

A American created a custom top for bar in our basement that involved a variety of angles. They were right on time for both estimate and installation and provided two different layouts for our custom bar top which was emailed to us via PDF to view and make any needed adjustments. Installation went fine and the bar looks great. Would definitely recommend for the ease of using one business for both purchasing and cutting the granite. Everything was straightforward and up front. No surprises. Lots of colors to choose from also.

We purchased a gorgeous granite counter top and a 16 gauge, stainless steel, heavy-duty kitchen sink from them. All other suppliers said we could not get a "D" shaped 16 gauge sink, but they got it at a better price than the 18 gauges anywhere else. I LOVE it. There is bottom drain "basket" that protects the sink from scratches and is great for letting dishes or pots drain. But most important is the granite counter top. We went to their warehouse at 7777 Caldwell, picked out the stone which they put on hold for us, picked out and ordered the sink, and then waited for the cabinets to be installed. Once installed, they came out to measure the exact measurements and then cut the stone. We wanted a carved in "dish drain" into the granite on the side of the sink so we could put pots or big things to drain. A-American first told me they do not do that and thought that answer would be the end. However, I really wanted that drain carved, so I checked around and found it was possible and went back to them to ask them to find a way to get it done. They did just that. So if you want this GREAT feature, they can do it and believe me, it is better than I could have expected. Yes, the water does flow very well into the sink! And the room is so classy. Important to note is that they had to cut the stone at one point to join it to another piece because the counter was longer than the granite slab. This is very common. I asked them to cut in at a particular point where the counters lined up, and they cut it exactly where it needed to be. When it was installed, the stone pieces were cut in such a way that they met so perfectly that it is not noticeable where the stone was joined. And the natural design in the stone is so well matched that it looks as if it truly is one piece. I was amazed at the results. We also have a back splash which keeps things from falling behind the counter. It also gives a nice finished look and the installation again was superb. It matches well and is well sealed. Another good thing is that they told me that I have to seal the stone and we should not let water just sit on the counter. And we should not put hot pots on the counter. These little things may not seem important until the day you do it and wish they had provided the information. I really appreciate knowing better how to care for our counter and stone. When the counter top was installed, the technician also drilled the hole for the sink in the exact spot where it needed to be done.
Our sales person came out for the final measurements and was the one to instruct me about how to care for the counter. He investigated how to get the carving done and spent the time and effort to make sure it was done well. He oversaw the entire cutting process as well. We came to A American because of our contractor who was installing our new cabinets. He knew some of the ways to work best with A American as well and took me and my husband there to walk through the massive warehouse of stone slabs, and who encouraged us to continue to look around, which our sales person, Paul, gladly took us around the warehouse to do. The quality from A American is great. Their website shows some stuff but not nearly enough. Their warehouse is at the store front and it is important to wander the aisles to see the options. There is a warehouse driver who can move stones from place to place to help see the actual piece you want more clearly. The pricing, the service, the selection, the willingness to help find a solution to my request for the drain carving all put them on top of my list of suppliers. Paul was particularly helpful. And based upon our experience, we are putting counter tops and cabinets in two other rooms, the laundry room and a sun room. The cabinets are on order and we are planning another visit to A American to select the granite slabs for these rooms. We plan to use them again later this month for these other rooms and expect the same great service and quality. Thank you for helping make our kitchen look so great. Now it's onward to the next room.

Granite countertops, matching granite COVERING walls under cupboards and 4-inch matching backsplashes elsewhere. Double-bowl (60/40) undermount kitchen sink installed.
Extremely pleased with the professionalism and expertise that our sales person ALEX demonstrated as well as the installers. Alex arrived on schedule, measured and identified that our walls weren't square in our old house. Instead of a 1 day install, he recommended two-step installation. First install the counter then measure and cut backsplash pieces to accommodate uniqueness of our house. The total project took four days. Day 1 = Countertop install and backsplash measuring, Day 2 and 3 = design and cutting at their shop. Day 4 = finish install. IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. I can't say enough about the work ethic and quality I saw from ALEX and the installers. FYI - pricing is competitive as Granite can be expensive. We went to several stores where price was about the same. But none of those shops had the level of inventory on site or the array of fabrication machines that I saw in their shops.

A-American was one of the four showrooms we visited when we decided to remodel our kitchen this past summer. George, our sales person, took the time to discuss our options in terms of material, color choices and cost. Once we made our decision, George was able to schedule an installation date within ten business days. A team of three installers showed up right on time. They had to make a several adjustments as the new walls and cabinets were not perfectly straight. They stayed to clean the countertop and the area around the work so well that we didn't have to clean after them. The crew ended working until 7:PM (on a Friday night). The job they did looks fantastic! We're impressed with their work as well as their professionalism. I recommend A-AMERICAN Custom Flooring to anyone who needs quality work done and at a very competitive rate.

Thank you for your efforts last week. I really appreciate your willingness to reschedule the installation to assist us. The installers were very professional; they worked quickly and kept our back counter areas neat and clean. Despite running into issues on-site, they were very pleasant and worked hard to complete all four stores. We couldn't open our stores this Wednesday without you Alin, and your team! I am forever grateful.

Alin, thank you for your e-mail The installers did a great job as your measurements were accurate. With the back splash (mosaic black, gray, and off white glass) the top looks wonderful. I know it was wise to go with quartz. Add my name and phone number to your list of satisfied customers if you need recommendations. I am very happy with the professional service, quality workmanship and customer service follow up. Patricia D. A very satisfied customer.

Deciding it was time to replace my formica kitchen countertops, I went to the big box stores who nickel and dime you and force you to be your own contractor taking on much responsibility. Then I talked to another company that handled everything but charged 2-3x more.
Then I found A-American which had a great showroom, although the staff were not especially welcoming. I meandered and then a man asked if I needed help, and provided quick assistance knowing his products. The price was great and there were no hidden charges whatsoever. And, bonus, the granite I chose happened to be on special.
It was installed today quickly and efficiently and looks great. Would use again.

Thank you for the terrific project work that was carried out, at my home, by A-American Contractors. From the expert Sales work, to the fabrication, to the precise installation work on the quartz counter tops that your people installed, your work practices were great.

Your installers, Valer & Victor are phenomenal Master Mechanics! From the manner in which they presented themselves to the exacting procedure of the installation, they were superbly professional in every way.

I am very particular about how I like things, (like this project), to be carried out. I had NOT ONE complaint!

"A-Z", everything was perfect!

Thanks again for everything Ryan, you and A-American will be highly recommended by me.
